Scientific Founder

Dean, Faculty of Biology; Director, Azrieli Institute for Brain and Neural Sciences, Weizmann Institute of Science. Research expertise: Neural coding and representations; Neural networks; Amygdala and prefrontal cortex; Models of PTSD and Anxiety; Emotional learning and memory; Decision-making.

Certified psychiatrist. Expert in neurophysiology, deep brain stimulation and focused ultrasound research in neuro psychiatry. Researcher at Hadassah-Hebrew University, Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
